Exhibition about cubism in Museo Carmen Thyssen
Recently here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we recommended you visit Casa de la Cultura of Fuengirola to see the exhibition about the posters of the fair that back then was there on display.
Today we would like to suggest you visit another great exhibition, though this time in the capital of Costa del Sol.
From the 18th of October 2017 till the 25th of February 2018 Museo Carmen Thyssen holds an interesting exhibition called “Juan Gris, María Blanchard and cubism (1916-1927)”.
As we pointed out in previous posts when we mentioned this museum, Museo Carmen Thyssen is based in a beautiful old building right in the heart of Malaga. It opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M and its entry price depends on if you only want to see the temporary exhibition or both, temporary and permanent. What is constant is the fact every Sunday from 5:00 P.M its entry is free.
The exhibition we mentioned above, called “Juan Gris, María Blanchard y los cubismos” is a temporary one that shows the most fascinating moments in 20th century art through the works of Juan Gris, María Blanchard and other artists with whom they both shared friendship and creative empathy.
If you really like modern art and you are planning to come on holiday to Hotel Yaramar sometime soon we recommend you go to Malaga and visit this exhibition.
