Today we celebrate World Ethics Day, a day that encourages us to reflect on the importance of acting with integrity in all areas of our lives. This day, celebrated every third Wednesday of October, reminds us that ethics is not only a set of rules, but a guide to make responsible decisions that have a positive impact on our environment, both personally and professionally.
At ML HOTELES, the group to which Hotel Yaramar and Hotel Ángela belongs, we join in the tribute to this day by sharing our Ethical Code, a commitment we make to our employees, guests, suppliers and the community in general. This document establishes fundamental principles and values that guide all our activities:
Today more than ever, ethics is a shared responsibility. We encourage you to learn more about our practices on our website and join us in this mission.

Yesterday, 29th September was a key date to reflect on the importance of reducing food waste and adopting more sustainable practices. At Hotel Yaramar, we are committed to this cause and would like to share some positive actions to combat this global issue.
Why is it important?
Every year, a large amount of food is lost or wasted at different stages of the supply chain, from production to consumption. This waste not only represents an economic loss but also has a significant impact on the environment.
What can we do at home?
What can businesses do?
Our commitment at Hotel Yaramar
At Hotel Yaramar, we collaborate with TooGoodToGo, a platform that helps us reduce food waste. We offer the community the opportunity to purchase packs at reduced prices, with food that would otherwise be wasted. This initiative allows us to minimise waste and contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
We invite you to join us in this cause to combat food waste.

And after so much physical activity, to end the day in the best way, we recommend you to visit the Rooftop Bar of our sister hotel, Hotel Angela. On the 23rd of March, Hotel Yaramar, in Fuengirola, joined the global movement of Earth Hour to show our commitment with environment.
What is Earth Hour? It is more than just turning off the lights for an hour; it is a symbol of unity in defence of our planet and the people who inhabit it.
This year, in addition to turning off the lights in our hotels, we encouraged our employees to participate by spending an hour doing activities that not only bring us closer to nature, but also inspire us to take care of it more and more each day, capturing natural beauty through photography and enjoying outdoor sports.
Every step we took, every photo we took, contributed to a worldwide movement of awareness and action for the planet. Because, as we all know, even 60 minutes can make a difference when millions of people unite in a common purpose.
Today, we share with you some of the incredible photographs captured by our employees during this event. Each image contains a story of connection with nature and commitment to preserving the planet.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in this meaningful moment, dedicating an hour to nature. Let's remember that every action, no matter how small it may seem, counts in the fight for a prosperous planet for future generations.

This year Holy Week is the last week of March, so if you are planning to visit Hotel Yaramar during this period and you want to enjoy one of the most beautiful and popular traditions we have in Spain, this post will be of great interest to you.
If you don't feel like going to central Fuengirola and you prefer to experience Holy Week without going too far from the hotel, you will be happy to know that in Los Boliches you can enjoy several wonderful processions.
The first of these will take place on Friday 22nd March, at 20:30 hours, when the Brotherhood of Jesús el Cautivo will go in procession through the main streets of our neighbourhood, departing from the church in Los Boliches and finishing at around 22:00 hours at their Brotherhood headquarters, right by the fairground.
On Sunday 24th March, Palm Sunday, there will be another procession at 10:30 am from this same Brotherhood headquarters to the church in Los Boliches, arriving there at around 11:00 am.
Finally, on Sunday 31st March, Easter Sunday, at 11:30 A.M, the Brotherhood of El Cautivo will take out its Resurrected Christ and take it in procession through the main streets of Los Boliches, ending the event at 14:00 at its brotherhood house.
Holy Week is not only part of our culture but also of our art and our history, so if you are lucky enough to be on holiday at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, in late March we recommend you not to miss one of the most impressive representations on the Costa del Sol!
